70 ACRES OF PRIVATE DUNES one mile north of Frankfort is where you will find the idyllic setting for a unique collection of three spacious homes that can accommodate sixty overnight guests for your memorable destination wedding.
We require a three-day minimum stay for our wedding celebrations, but why not spend a full week celebrating your marriage?
Lake Bluff Preserve is a unique wedding venue in a private setting with spectacular western views of Lake Michigan. No worries about parking or traffic. Lake Bluff Preserve is well-appointed to handle your guests. Our couples combine their wedding with a mini-vacation with family & friends. Let your pets run free while you enjoy the five fire pits under the glorious nighttime sky on our upper dunes. We have added a 2,000 square foot covered deck for your use during your special stay.
The homes were imagined and designed to offer spacious bedrooms and baths, living and dining areas, and expansive decks with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. The property is truly a wedding venue beyond compare -- private and relaxed.

Located just outside Frankfort, Michigan, Lake Bluff Preserve is an intimate and private setting where couples can hold their wedding celebrations. The preserve is host to a collection of vacation homes, each offering its own unique charm and privacy.
From the bluffs, the houses provide an ideal perch for watching the sunset over the aqua-blue waters of Lake Michigan. Wraparound decks and dune fire pits present enjoyable gathering spots, enabling celebrations to extend into the outdoors. Plenty of urban-based amenities are offered in the harbor town of Frankfort which is just over a mile from Lake Bluff Preserve.
FACILITIES / CAPACITY
There are different rental options on the market at this destination. We are pet-friendly and have parking included on the various lots. Amenities such as a washer & dryer and broadband internet are included in all units.
Maple is a charming four-bedroom home that sleeps 10 overnight guests. Spruce/Poplar is the largest, sleeping up to 28 in total. Ten bedrooms are distributed throughout the four-story home and two kitchens and dining space act as ideal communal locations. Birch accommodates 22 overnight guests. This capacity is spaced-out across nine bedrooms in total.
The secluded lower bluffs offer Dune, a classic home for 12 overnight guests in its eight bedrooms. It is available only in the spring and fall. It features views of wooded landscapes and offers open living space.

Those staying here will have easy access to local attractions such as Point Betsie Lighthouse, Crystal Lake, Platte Lakes, and Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
